Amazon India launches Prime Video Channels, service includes content from 8 OTT platforms

Amazon India has recently announced a new service called Prime Video Channels. The service will be available to users in the Indian market and allow them to access additional content from several video streaming platforms. Currently, Amazon has brought the service with eight OTT platforms on board and will be made available to Amazon Prime Members at discounted prices.
Amazon India is also planning to add many more channels in the upcoming months to the Prime Video Channels. For reference, the Prime Video subscription-based service is already available in some countries other than India. Globally, Amazon has over 350 OTT partners. The Prime Video Channels will basically be an add-on to the already existing services of Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon Prime Video Channels to offer content from 8 OTT platforms
The subscribers of Amazon Prime Video can select from up to 8 OTT platforms and add content from that platform to their Amazon Prime Video account. In a nutshell, the service makes it easier for people with subscriptions to multiple OTT platforms, as they can now get more content in one place. Once the subscription is paid for, the OTT will be available to access from Amazon's official website and the Prime Video application.
As mentioned earlier, there are a total of eight OTT platforms available. As a part of the launch, all the Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to avail the new service at a discounted price. While using such as service, a user will be able to access the content from a third-party OTT platform within Amazon's app. If the content does not need to be viewed, the user can carry along with the regular content available on Amazon Prime Video.

As with other Amazon Prime Video content, users will be able to check IMDB's rating for every content using the X-Ray feature. Additionally, viewers can also create a single watch list that might contain content from other OTT platforms included in the subscription. Data consumption manageability, along with other features will also be available. Do remember that the prices mentioned above are to be paid on top of regular Amazon Prime Video subscription charges.
