Launched on 15th January, 2019, the device is the latest addition to the budget lineup of the company. The previous launches like Honor 8 and Honor 9X were a huge success and fetched the company a position in the top 4 sellers of the world.

HONOR 10 LITE is at the top of the charts, let’s talk about it.

The display on this device is quite vibrant, and immersive at the same time. With the 6.21 inches IPS LCD panel and the 415 pixel per inch density, the colors produced are sharp and crisp. The device runs on EMUI 9.0, which is Honor’s custom UI, based on Android 9.0. This adds up to the total performance and novelty of the device. The cause of the multi-tasking abilities and the smooth running of the applications is the Kirin 710 chipset, which is based upon 12nm technology. It is an octa-core processor which, when combined with the MALI-G51, is able to handle anything thrown at it, pretty well.

It has a dual camera set-up at the rear. The primary shooter is a 13MP (f/1.8) which is itself a wide angle lens and a secondary 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. It also supports full HD video recording at 60fps. Selfie camera, being the highlight of this smartphone, is a 24MP (f/2.0) shooter, which surprisingly is also a wide angle lens. One of the USP’s of the brand, the camera of this device is pretty decent and is able to capture the right amount of exposure and colors, even in the daylight. The front portrait mode is slightly more towards the animated side.

All these hardware elements are backed up a 3400mAH lithium polymer battery and also supports fast charging. At this price point, other companies are shipping their products with a bigger battery. Honor, with this device, largely depends on the 12nm technology, which makes the processor more power efficient.

The device comes with multiple color options. “Sapphire Blue”, “Sky Blue”, and “Midnight Black” are the three beautiful colors that are available. The storage options comprises of different combinations of 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, which are priced for 14000INR and 18000INR respectively.

The device looks good, feels good and is a good package overall, but one might consider other options with better battery or stock experience.
