MI 10i Specs Revealed Ahead Of Launch - High Expectation From 108MP Camera

Xiaomi has been dominating the Indian smartphone market like anything. They have consistently maintained the quality and value of their products. Each Xiaomi smartphone is considered to be the best in the budget by the fans. And the good news is, Xiaomi is about to launch the MI 10i, the 108MP camera beast. And just a few days before the launch, the specs have been revealed by Xiaomi.

Specifications

The Xiaomi MI 10i would run on MIUI 12 out of the box, based on Android 10. The mighty mid-ranger, Snapdragon 750G sits at the heart of this device, giving it 5G capabilities. Coupled with its 6BG or 8GB RAM variants, day-to-day tasks would be super smooth on this one. Surprisingly, the Qualcomm chipset can handle some pretty heavy games, at medium-high settings.

Display

Coming to the display, a crisp 6.67" AMOLED panel leaves no complaints, with a FULLHD+ resolution. Talking about the camera, it is the main highlight of this device. The Xiaomi MI 10i is supposed to have 108MP (f/1.75) primary camera sensor. Xiaomi says it is a new, improved and a larger camera sensor than most other mid-range phones. It also has three other sensors on the rear panel, which according to me is a gimmicky configuration - a wide-angle shooter, a macro sensor and a depth assist lens. Other than that, the phone has all the major sensors, features such as Bluetooth 5.10, USB Type-C and WiFi Direct.

Thoughts

In my opinion, the 108MP sensor would definitely give an edge to mobile photographers. The number you just read is an insane amount of detail. We are talking about an image size of 40MB per image, on a mobile phone. It also unlocks a lot of post-processing options. Those who like to edit their photographs would truly enjoy this smartphone.

MI 10i might be priced around 25,000INR and would compete straight with OnePlus Nord. It would launch on 5th January, and might be available for sale through Amazon soon.
